Sinus Infections

Sinuses are empty cavities located in and around the cheekbones, eyes and nose. Their main function is to warm, moisten and filter the air you breathe in. Healthy sinuses are filled with air, but an infection can occur when the sinus openings become blocked or inflamed. This may onset by a cold, allergies, nasal polyps or a deviated septum.

Common signs of a sinus infection are headache, runny or stuffy nose, facial pressure, congestion, and thick, yellow or green nasal discharge. Other symptoms may include: fever, difficulty breathing, fatigue, cough, decrease of smell, sore throat and bad breath.

Salt therapy is a drug-free, non-invasive way to relive sinus infection symptoms. While you relax in one of our spa-like salt rooms, tiny salt particles will cleanse and detoxify your respiratory system as you breathe them in. The salt will kill germs and bacteria that cause inflammation, release excess mucus and strengthen your immune system.
